IWS 2013 paving ways for industrial growth

5th India Warehousing Show, running along the success of its previous editions, is set to present another great event and is undoubtedly India’s biggest show on warehousing and logistics industry. “After 4 successful exhibitions in the previous years, this edition brings more opportunities and distinguishes itself as an essential event offering a global platform”, stated Anuj Mathur, Managing Director, Reed Manch Exhibitions Pvt Ltd.

IWS comes as a total package offering wide variety of services and solutions to attendees. The show is co-located with India Transport & Logistics Show and India Materials Handling Show and is segmented into Warehousing, Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain, Automation and Packaging. Since its inception, the show has grown by leaps and bounds, gathering industry support. Mathur further said, “Indian logistics market is growing at a healthy rate and industry figures suggest that many international players are poised to invest in the market. With participation from US, China, Italy, Taiwan and Germany, growth of IWS is evident. ”

IWS is run with an objective to offer trade visitors an optimum business and networking platform while maintaining the demand and supply consistency. Spanning over 12,000 sqm, IWS will have more than 350 products on display and will also project several live demos and product launches. The show will be complemented with 4th India Warehousing Conference discussing, ‘Changing Trends in Warehousing, Transport & Logistics Sector: The Way Forward’. “The conference aims to surface challenges and opportunities of the sector, possible solutions along with providing knowledge sharing and networking platform”, added Mathur.

The show has garnered contributions from several leading associations and government authorities including Warehousing Development & Regulatory Authority of India, Global SMB Chamber of Commerce and The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport. The members have been invited to attend the show and share industry insights.
